Shy Bladder (Paruresis) Coaching
I’ve been there. I know the struggle—and I know the way out.
What is Shy Bladder Syndrome?
Shy bladder syndrome, or paruresis, is more than just discomfort—it’s the inability to urinate in certain situations, even when the body needs to. It can feel isolating and overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to control your life.
My Journey of Overcoming Shy Bladder
For years, I struggled with paruresis. I know the feeling of dread in public restrooms, the impact on travel, relationships, and confidence.
But I also know recovery is possible. I transformed my experience of shy bladder, and now, as a coach at the Shy Bladder Center, I’ve helped others do the same.
It was through understanding the role of thought, mind, and consciousness that I began to ease my anxiety and take meaningful steps toward freedom.
